The pupils told the story in a unique manner with drama, story, poetry, song and prayer. What great talent we have in the school!
It was very encouraging for Staff and pupils to see so many people come along to support and enjoy the presentation. We thank you for your presence and your respectful and thoughtful appreciation.
Enjoy the pictures!
Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy this telling of the first Christmas in a unique way. It is an opportunity to take a break from everyday life and reflect on what the season is all about.
Healthy Eating is encouraged in our School. Pupils are urged to eat fruit and veg, drink milk, water or fruit juice and reduce intake of confectionery while in school. This pupil is setting a very good example and doesn’t she look bright and healthy??
The FIR TREES is the venue!!
If you or someone you know of would like to take part, contact a Committee member.
Remember, it’s all for fun and for a very good cause!
Below are some examples of work from our Senior Classes. I wonder if you can guess the name of the person who wrote the mystery poem!!
The evening of Monday November 14th has been set aside for meetings. School will close at the usual time for pupils. Parents and Guardians will be given an appointment time form 3pm to 7pm. Please notify the school in advance if you will not be attending.
At the end of the School year the Principal Teacher, Mr Kilcoyne, made some special awards to those pupils who consistently presented neat work throughout the school year.
Congratulations to Kate Cubbins, Natasha Devenney, Caoimhe McCarron, Sophie O’Donnell, Hannah White, Aisling McCullagh, Chantelle Patterson and Patrick Lindsay.
Guest of honour was Ms Dolores O’Kelly, retired Teacher, whose enthusiasm for environmental issues led to the School participating in the An Taisce project. The first flag was awarded for recycling and this second flag was for raising awareness on energy issues. At the ceremony itself each class sang a little song highlighting issues of protecting the planet and conserving energy. Well done to the Staff and Pupils for their committment to this issue.
